Manuel Zumbado Ramírez founded Mallas Zumbado Fence Company in the late 1960s, leveraging his expertise as a welder. A life surrounded by wire and iron with which he created the best fence products in Costa Rica. By day, he worked as a welder for the railroad, and in the afternoons and evenings, he dedicated himself to welding, building iron fences and gates in the patio of his home and in the process built a great company.

With great ingenuity, he created machines and devices to create chain link and fence materials that function perfectly to this day.
